Description:AZ20 is a monoclonal antibody that targets the cell surface receptor stem cell factor. It has been shown to induce apoptosis in colorectal adenocarcinoma cells and prostate cancer cells, as well as to inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells in vivo. AZ20 binds to the stem cell factor receptor on the surface of cancer cells and initiates an intracellular signaling cascade that leads to the activation of caspases, resulting in programmed cell death. AZ20 also inhibits the proliferation of tumor cells by blocking their ability to bind to other cells via cell-to-cell contact. This drug has been shown to have no significant side effects on healthy tissue or immune system function.
