ELR510444 has potent antitumor activity and is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of cervical cancer and renal cell cancer. This drug is being developed by Eli Lilly and Company. ELR510444 also has antiangiogenic properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit tumor growth by blocking the growth factor VEGF signaling pathway. The mechanism of action of ELR510444 is still under investigation, but it has been shown to bind to the drug transporter ABCG2 and inhibit cellular proliferation in vitro.
