2,3-Dihydroxy-N,N,N-trimethylpropan-1-aminium chloride is a quaternary ammonium compound that has a high concentration of nitrogen. It is often used as an enhancer for the c1-c3 range of hair dyes. 2,3-Dihydroxy-N,N,N-trimethylpropan-1-aminium chloride can be used in cosmetics to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
