Product Information
Marumoside A is a potent inhibitor of kinases, which are enzymes that play a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways. It is an analog of tylosin, a macrolide antibiotic, and has been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor cells in vitro. Marumoside A also inhibits the secretion of secretin, a hormone that regulates pancreatic function. In human cancer cell lines, Marumoside A induces apoptosis, or programmed cell death, which is an important mechanism for eliminating abnormal cells. Additionally, it has been found in Chinese urine and may have potential as a therapeutic agent for cancer treatment. Menthol has also been identified as an ingredient in Marumoside A and may contribute to its anti-cancer properties.
