Product Information
Cycloheptyl isocyanide (CIP) is a carbonyl group that can be used as a ligand in organometallic chemistry. It has shown to react with silicon, carboxylate, phosphite, and iron catalyst to form a ruthenium complex. The CIP reacts with Grignard reagents and cyclopentadienyl to form an imine. This organic compound is insoluble in organic solvents and can be used for hydrocarbon synthesis. Cycloheptyl isocyanide has been shown to react with organic compounds such as phenols, amines, and alkenes at room temperature.
