Description:LY-900009 is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of the protease secretase. LY-900009 has been shown to inhibit the growth of breast cancer cells and increase survival rates in animal models. LY-900009 was also found to be effective at preventing the regrowth of tumours after treatment with chemotherapy or radiotherapy. It is also known to inhibit epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signalling, which has been implicated in tumorigenesis.
