Description:Cy-vBRIDP is a grignard reagent that is used in organic synthesis. It can be prepared from methyl propionate and phenylmagnesium bromide in the presence of toluene as a solvent. Cy-vBRIDP can also be used as an analytical reagent for high performance liquid chromatography (Hplc) analysis of substances with boiling points below 200°C. It is insoluble in most solvents, but can be crystallized from benzene or chloroform solutions.
