Description:CC-92480 is an immunomodulatory drug that has been shown to inhibit T-cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in some cases. It has been shown to activate markers of autologous stem cells, potent inhibition of t-cell proliferation, and clinical studies have shown it to be safe in humans. CC-92480 increases the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines and inhibits lipid peroxidation. CC-92480 also binds to the surface of cancer cells, which may trigger an immune response against cancer cells. The safety profile is similar to pomalidomide, a related compound that is used for the treatment of multiple myeloma.
