Triethanolamine phosphate is a high-resistance analytical method for determining the concentration of sodium citrate in aqueous solutions. It is based on the reaction between sodium citrate and dextran sulfate, which produces an insoluble precipitate that can be measured by surface methodology. The activity index of this method is high because it has been shown to have a strong correlation with the activity index of water vapor. Triethanolamine phosphate is also used to measure enzyme activities in complex solutions containing particles.
