Description:

Linatine is a peptide with molecular weight of 699 Da. It inhibits the activation of protein kinase C and protein tyrosine phosphatase. Linatine can also activate protein kinase A, but not as much as for protein kinase C. This is due to its high affinity for the substrate site on protein kinase A. Linatine has been shown to be a good research tool for studying ion channels and receptors in cell biology studies.
