Macrocalin A is a tnf-α inhibitor that inhibits the activation of β-catenin by ent-kaurane diterpenoids in lamiaceae. This compound also inhibits mitochondrial pathway and follicle growth, leading to decreased cell proliferation. Macrocalin A has been shown to inhibit the expression of follicle growth factor and melanogenesis, which are factors involved in cancer progression.
