2,4,5-Trimethoxybenzene-1-sulfonyl chloride is a potent antimicrobial agent that is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It prevents the growth of microorganisms by inhibiting the production of thiols and nitric oxide. 2,4,5-Trimethoxybenzene-1-sulfonyl chloride has been shown to be a potent antagonist of CRTH2 receptors in vitro.
