14-Deoxy-11-hydroxyandrographolide is a small molecule with antimicrobial activity that belongs to the family of natural products. It has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, and yeast. 14-Deoxy-11-hydroxyandrographolide also has cancer chemopreventive properties in human leukemia cells. This compound is an inhibitor of the toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathway and inhibits the production of e3 ubiquitin ligase. The medicinal values of this compound are not yet fully understood. 14-Deoxy-11 hydroxyandrographolide can be extracted from Andrographis paniculata by ethanol extraction.
