Description:PF 06281355 is a novel hypochlorous acid-releasing molecule. It has been shown to induce the recruitment of neutrophils to sites of ischemia reperfusion injury in a dose-dependent manner. This drug may be able to reduce the inflammatory response and decrease tissue damage by promoting the release of neutrophils from bone marrow, which are then recruited to the site of injury. PF06281355 also promotes the release of hematopoietic cells (e.g., platelets) and human liver cells, which can reduce vascular occlusions and improve blood flow to tissues during periods of ischemia reperfusion.
