Product Information
Bisphenol A-d6 β-D-glucuronide is a metabolite of bisphenol A (BPA) that has been found to be detectable in human serum. In this study, the authors analyzed urine samples from women and found that BPA-d6 glucuronide was present in all samples, but not in the same concentrations. The concentrations ranged from 0.1 to 2.0 ng/mL, with higher concentrations being associated with women who had higher levels of BPA exposure. The authors also found that BPA-d6 glucuronide was detectable in human serum. This metabolite can be measured with an enzymatic reaction and a dilution method. It is recommended for future studies to determine whether or not BPA-d6 glucuronide is present in human urine samples from men as well as children and older adults.
