Description:NDB is a matrix effect drug that has been shown to inhibit the metabolism of plants. NDB binds to the mitochondrial matrix and blocks electron transport, leading to an accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and increased oxidative stress. NDB also inhibits mitochondrial functions in adipose tissue and induces metabolic disorders. This drug has been shown to have antimicrobial properties against Gram-positive bacteria and fungi, but not Gram-negative bacteria. It is also effective against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
