ATC0175 is a synthetic analog of the natural fatty acid, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). It has been shown to bind to GABA receptors in the brain and has potent antagonistic activity. ATC0175 inhibits serotonergic system and may be effective as a treatment for metabolic disorders, such as insulin resistance. In addition, this chemical compound may be beneficial for skin conditions such as psoriasis or eczema. ATC0175 is also synergistic with insulin in reducing food intake and body weight.
