A-1155463 is a pro-apoptotic small molecule that inhibits the activity of a pro-survival protein and induces apoptosis in tumor cells. It has been shown to have synergistic effects on tumor growth when used with chemotherapy drugs such as 5-fluorouracil, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamide. A-1155463 has also been shown to be effective against colorectal adenocarcinoma cells in mice and leukemia cells in mice. This drug has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory factors by tumor cells.
