Lup-20(29)-ene-2α,3β-diol also decreases the activity of phosphatases in artemia and inhibits the growth of organisms such as lamiaceae, uronic acid bacteria, and tropical organisms. This compound may be useful for treating cardiovascular diseases by preventing blood clotting.
