It has been shown to be effective against tissue culture cells infected with hepatitis B virus or influenza A virus. [(1,3,4-Thiadiazol-2-yl)amino]formonitrile is reconstituted in water or DMSO before use in experiments with animals such as mice (CD1 strain).
