RG-12915 is a polymer-drug conjugate that consists of polyvinyl and Covid-19. It has been shown to have anti-emetic properties in animal models of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, with the potential to improve quality of life for cancer patients. Covid-19 is a small molecule that binds to the 5HT3 receptor on the vagal nerve and inhibits serotonin release, which has been implicated in chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting. The RG-12915 polymer drug conjugate has been shown to be safe and well tolerated in human clinical trials.
