Quiflapon has been shown to increase the rate at which fluid leaves the body through urination (glomerular filtration rate) by blocking the production of prostaglandins that are responsible for increasing renal blood flow. Quiflapon may be effective in treating bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease by inhibiting toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signalling pathways in immune cells.
