Description:Allyl a-D-glucopyranoside is a trisaccharide with the chemical formula CHO. It is an important monomer in the synthesis of polymers that are used in, for example, textiles, construction materials, and plastics. When irradiated with UV light, it undergoes photoinduced polymerization and has been shown to be hydrophilic.
