Product Information
- 4-Aminophenylb-D-thiomannopyranoside
4-Aminophenyl b-D-thiomannopyranoside is a drug that has been used to treat spittlebugs, tropical vegetation, and brain tumours. It is also used to diagnose the process flow of population functions. This drug is a substrate for the enzyme transducer, which converts it into an active form. The enzyme recording then converts this active form back into 4-aminophenyl b-D-thiomannopyranoside.
4-Aminophenyl b-D-thiomannopyranoside has been shown to inhibit the growth of cells in vitro and in vivo by inhibiting protein synthesis. It inhibits DNA synthesis by binding to the bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit and prevents transcription and replication. This drug also inhibits cell division by binding to enzymes that maintain the integrity of bacterial DNA (e.g., 16S ribosomal RNA).
