Description:
Wilfordine is a sesquiterpene lactone found in plants such as camptotheca acuminata and ganoderma lucidum. Wilfordine has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of bacteria by inhibiting the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. It was also shown to have synergistic effects with chemical pesticides, such as tripterygium, and analytical methods, such as LC-MS/MS.
