Description:

Methyl 1-methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate is a reactive, liquid phase, photolyzed, and gaseous chemical. It is an intermediate in the synthesis of pyrrole compounds that are used to make pesticides and pharmaceuticals. The enthalpic parameters for the reaction of methyl 1-methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate with acetonitrile were determined experimentally at various temperatures. Kinetic analysis showed that the reaction proceeds via a peroxide mechanism with gaseous hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant. This substance is kinetically stable up to 200°C.
