Description:Ciclopirox-D11 D-glucuronide is a custom synthesis that has been modified by fluorination, methylation, and click modification. Ciclopirox-D11 D-glucuronide binds to the fungal cell wall by covalent bonding to the chitin in the fungal cell wall. This compound also inhibits the growth of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Clostridium perfringens by inhibiting protein synthesis due to its ability to bind to ribosomes.
