Product Information
2-n-Octyl-1-dodecylamine is a fluorescent probe that can be used for cancer diagnosis. It has been shown to bind to electron-deficient functional groups such as butyric acid, and is able to penetrate cells. 2-n-Octyl-1-dodecylamine has been shown to have good biocompatibility in vivo, and was found to be stable in the presence of oxygen and water. This compound is also semiconducting, with an electron mobility of 4.6 cm2/Vs at room temperature. 2-n-Octyl-1-dodecylamine has a high quantum yield (0.24) and efficiencies of up to 60% when used in heterojunction photovoltaic devices.
