Kadsuric acid is a natural compound found in the fructus of Oroxylum indicum, a plant native to East Asia. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of human liver cancer cells and to induce autophagy in lung fibroblasts. Kadsuric acid has also been shown to be an antifeedant and have anti-inflammatory properties. The structure of kadsuric acid is shown below:
