Ethyl 2,3,6-tri-O-benzoyl-b-D-thioglucopyranoside is a synthetic monosaccharide with a complex carbohydrate structure. It can be custom synthesized to order and is available in high purity. Ethyl 2,3,6-tri-O-benzoyl-b-D-thioglucopyranoside also reacts with thiols in the presence of catalysts such as HOBt or HOAt to form thioether bonds.
