Product Information

Name:
N1-(5-Bromo-2-pyridinyl)-N2,N2-dimethyl-1,2-ethanediamine
Description:

N1-(5-Bromo-2-pyridinyl)-N2,N2-dimethyl-1,2-ethanediamine is a potent inhibitor of PI3K and p38 MAPK. It also has anti-inflammatory properties through the inhibition of alveolar macrophages. This compound can be used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), both of which are caused by the excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix proteins. N1-(5-Bromo-2-pyridinyl)-N2,N2-dimethyl-1,2-ethanediamine is also an important intermediate in the synthesis of other compounds that have been shown to be potent modulators for Alzheimer's disease and cancer.
