Description:

Fragransin A2 is a cytotoxic compound derived from the tropical plant Calophyllum inophyllum. It has been shown to have potent cytotoxicity against cancer cells and is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Fragransin A2 has been shown to inhibit fatty acid synthesis, carnitine synthesis, and multiple-reaction monitoring of fatty acid oxidation. It has also been shown to be an inhibitor of poria and inophyllum, which are both fungi that produce carcinogenic compounds. In addition, it has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting the production of hydrogen bond-forming enzymes and organic acids.
