Product Information
Name:Amitriptyline N-α-D-glucuronide solution
Brand:Biosynth
Description:Amitriptyline N-alpha-D-glucuronide is a metabolite of amitriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant drug. It is excreted in the urine and has an inhibitory effect on liver microsomes. Amitriptyline N-alpha-D-glucuronide is hydrolyzed to amitriptyline by alkaline phosphatase and can be measured in urine samples. The enzyme glucuronidase converts amitriptyline N-alpha-D-glucuronide back to amitriptyline. Amitriptyline N-alpha-D-glucuronide can also be formed from the metabolism of other drugs, such as diazepam and phenacetin.
