Hesperetin 7-O-glucoside is a flavonoid that has demonstrated antioxidative properties. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro, and can be used as an anti-cancer agent. Hesperetin 7-O-glucoside has also been shown to have minimal toxicity in animal studies. This compound is found in plants like apples and oranges, as well as in some spices such as oregano and thyme. Hesperetin 7-O-glucoside has also been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by inducing apoptosis through the upregulation of epithelial mesenchymal markers and downregulation of mesenchymal markers.
