It is synthesized by reacting moexipril with bromoacetic acid in the presence of sodium cyanoborohydride, followed by hydrolysis with potassium hydroxide to form the methyl ester. Moexipril acyl-b-D-glucuronide has CAS number 93890-82-2 and is available for custom synthesis. It has a high purity (99%) and can be methylated or glycosylated.
