Quercetin 3-O-xyloside is a glycoside derivative of quercetin. It has been shown to be cytotoxic to various cancer cell lines, including human skin cells and leukemia cells. Quercetin 3-O-xyloside has also been found to have anti-inflammatory properties, as it inhibits the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in human skin cells. Quercetin 3-O-xyloside also shows significant antioxidant activity and protects against oxidative damage induced by radiation.
