Description:
Tert-butyl 5-amino-3-cyclopropyl-1H-pyrazole-1-carboxylate is a pyrrolidinone that inhibits the enzyme malic acid carboxylic esterase. It is used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Tert-butyl 5-amino-3-cyclopropyl-1H-pyrazole-1 carboxylate binds to the active site of malic acid carboxylic esterase, preventing its substrate from binding, thereby inhibiting the enzyme's activity. This product has been shown to be an inhibitor of the malic acid carboxylic esterase, with a KI value of 1.0 mM. Tert butyl 5 amino 3 cyclopropyl 1 H pyrazole 1 carboxylate has also been shown to be a metabolite of 3 aminopyrazole.
