It also exhibits antiviral activity against murine leukemia and murine viruses in cell culture. LXT has been shown to inhibit the replication of the virus that causes human breast carcinoma. This compound also exhibits anti-inflammatory effects on murine leukemia cells and can stimulate the production of interferon from mouse spleen cells.
