2,3,4-Tri-O-acetyl-6-deoxy-a-D-glucopyranosyl trichloroacetimidate is a glycoconjugate that can be synthesized from 2,3,4 tri-O-acetyl-6 deoxyglucose and N-(2,2,2,-trichloroethyl)glycine. It has been shown to be useful for the synthesis of glycosidically bound fluorides. This chemical is an intermediate in the synthesis of saccharide and oligosaccharide derivatives with click modifications. It is also used as a reagent for the modification of polysaccharides with fluorination complexes. The high purity of this compound makes it suitable for use in custom synthesis.
