Description:Cis-ned 19 is a fluorescent probe that binds to the messenger RNA for angiotensin. It binds to the intracellular region of the sodium channel, which is a type of ion channel in the membrane of muscle cells. This binding inhibits the opening of the sodium channel and prevents an increase in calcium concentration in the cytoplasm. Cis-ned 19 also inhibits adenine dinucleotide phosphate (ADP) and increases adenosine diphosphate (ADP) concentrations, which leads to an inhibition of muscle contraction.
