Product Information
(Z)-Fecp-oxindole is a potent anticancer drug that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It binds to the active site of x-ray crystal structures and crystallography, which are enzymes that regulate cell growth. (Z)-Fecp-oxindole inhibits the production of tyrosine kinase proteins in tumor cells, thereby preventing the activation of proteins that promote cell proliferation. This compound also inhibits the activity of redox enzymes, such as glutathione reductase and cytochrome P450. The affinity values for (Z)-Fecp-oxindole's binding to human proteins have been determined using affinity chromatography on calf thymus DNA.
