Description:D-Xylulose 5-phosphate lithium salt is a chiral ester that is used in the synthesis of natural products. The enzyme activities of this compound are monitored by measuring the levels of glucose, lactate, pyruvate, acetate, and ethanol in serum samples taken at different time intervals after administration.
