Description:2'-Amino-2'-deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate (2dUDP) is a nucleotide that has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of cytosolic Ca2+ release. 2dUDP binds to the Ryanodine receptor (RYR) and inhibits the release of Ca2+ from the sarcoplasmic reticulum. It is also fluorescent, and can be used to detect Ca2+ in cells. This nucleotide has been shown to inhibit populations of heterologous and homologous RYR receptors.
