L-Adenosine 5'-monophosphate disodium is a high quality, novel, modified phosphoramidite used for the synthesis of deoxyribonucleosides and nucleosides. It is also used as an antiviral agent and has anti-cancer properties. L-Adenosine 5'-monophosphate disodium is an activator of ribonucleoside activities and inhibits viral replication by inhibiting the enzyme RNA polymerase. It has been shown to be effective against HIV, herpes simplex virus (HSV), cytomegalovirus (CMV), Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), influenza A virus, and influenza B virus.
