Description:
1-(4’-Azido-2’-deoxy-2’-fluoro-b-D-arabinofuranosyl)N4-(n-docosanoyl)-cytosine is a deoxyribonucleoside monophosphate with antiviral effects. It is a novel nucleotide analogue that contains an azido group and a 2,4,6-trifluorobenzene moiety. The 4′ position of the sugar is modified with an n-docosanoyl group. 1-(4’Azo-2′deoxy-2′fluoro-bDara)ribonucleosides are synthetic nucleotides that can be used to inhibit viral replication by inhibiting DNA polymerase and RNA polymerase.
