2'-O-tert-Butyldimethylsilyl-5'-O-DMT-uridine is a synthetic nucleoside that is used in the synthesis of RNA. It has been shown to be resistant to heat and both acidic and basic conditions. 2'-O-tert-Butyldimethylsilyl-5'-O-DMT-uridine can be used for modifications of oligonucleotides and as a convenient sealant for the synthesis of DNA, RNA, or other nucleic acids. This product is neutralized with hydrochloric acid prior to use.
