2-(sec-Butylthio)pyrimidine-5-carbaldehyde is a molecule that inhibits cell growth and angiogenesis. It was found to inhibit the phosphorylation of specific proteins, leading to the inhibition of cell growth and angiogenesis. This compound has been shown to be effective against prostate cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, as well as in a mouse model for breast cancer.
