Description:
3,4,4'-Trichlorobiphenyl is a polychlorinated biphenyl that is used as a precursor in the production of various pesticides. It has been shown to be an immunogen and can be detected by monoclonal antibodies. The monoclonal antibody reacts with 3,4,4'-trichlorobiphenyl and can bind to it on the surface of cells such as spleen cells. This binding inhibits the production of antigens and antibodies in the spleen cell line.
