Description:
3,7-Dihydro-5-iodo-4-oxo-4H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine is a novel antiviral drug with anticancer activity. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme ribonucleotide reductase and has been shown to inhibit the production of deoxyribonucleosides in tumor cells. It also inhibits DNA synthesis by inhibiting DNA polymerase. 3,7-Dihydro-5-iodo-4-oxo-4H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine is a high purity product that is available in both monophosphate and diphosphate forms.
