Description:
2’,3’-Dideoxy-5-fluorocytidine is a nucleoside analog that inhibits the growth of tumor cells in animals. It has been shown to inhibit the replication of hepatitis B virus and HIV without affecting normal cell division. 2′,3′-Dideoxy-5-fluorocytidine also has potent antitumor activity against human hematopoietic cells and induces apoptosis.
